Day 6 Pick: Twins, Baker -140 ~ Postgame

Finally, a win to snap my four game losing streak!

Scott Baker locked it down for me tonight, fanning eight through the first four and 10 batters overall.  The Twins only mustered one run, yet that was enough against the problematic Padres.

Something that I failed to mention on Twitter and on this blog is that as well as making picks, I am also placing units on each bet. I can place any where between 1-5 units per pick, each unit representing $100.  I only put 2 units on this bet, and at -140, I didn't really make up a lot of ground in the Payout column.

Here is a break down of my first six bets during this project and how much I would have lost if I could gamble for a living.

Pretty terrible, but not as terrible as having to listen to Britney Spears for two hours while Wendy and her friend pre-party for the concert.

Let's hope this new winning streak last and that I will never have to listen to a Britney song ever again.

Until we meet again tomorrow.
